Tanuja Pandey Says ‘Reckless Style’ Is Unacceptable for a Prime Minister

Gen Z campaigner Tanuja Pandey has urged Prime Minister Balen Shah to adopt responsible and dignified political conduct, stating that there is “no longer any room for a reckless style of behavior” from a prime minister.

Responding through social media, Pandey said politics should be guided by responsibility, discipline, and decorum. Targeting the Prime Minister, she questioned whether he is acting as “Prime Minister Balen” or “Balen who enjoys cheap popularity.”

She also criticized the Prime Minister for leaving the parliamentary meeting while President Ram Chandra Poudel was presenting the government’s policy and program prepared by his own administration. According to her, the act was disrespectful toward the head of state, elected representatives, and the public mandate.

Pandey further stated that no one has the right to undermine parliamentary decorum, the dignity of the presidential institution, or the people’s mandate, and emphasized that the Prime Minister is no exception.
