Trump claims war with Iran will end soon

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that the conflict with Iran will end soon.

Speaking at an event on Wednesday, Trump stated that efforts are underway to reach an agreement regarding the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear program.

Reiterating the U.S. position that Iran must not obtain nuclear weapons, Trump expressed confidence that “this will end soon.”

Meanwhile, according to CNN, Iran is preparing to send its response to the U.S. proposal through mediators on Thursday.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said discussions are ongoing with Pakistani mediators regarding the American proposal.

Reports suggest that both the United States and Iran are exploring the possibility of an agreement to end the conflict, although Iran is still conducting an internal review of the proposal.
