Gold and Silver Prices Rise Again in Local Market

In the domestic market, prices of both gold and silver have increased compared to Thursday. Gold rose by NPR 1,300 per tola, while silver increased by NPR 120 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold (hallmark gold) on Friday reached NPR 299,900 per tola. Silver was priced at NPR 5,275 per tola.
On Thursday, gold was traded at NPR 298,600 per tola, while silver stood at NPR 5,155 per tola. Earlier on Wednesday, gold was priced at NPR 296,800 per tola and silver at NPR 5,050 per tola.
In the international market, gold is reportedly trading at around $4,715 per ounce, while silver is trading at $79 per ounce, according to international media reports.
