Two Rescued After Mudslide in Dhading

Two people buried after a mudslide in Dhading have been rescued by the Nepal Army. The incident occurred at Salanghat, Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality–3, when a mound of soil suddenly collapsed.
According to officials, the accident happened while plastering work was underway at a local house, when soil slid down from above and buried two men. Upon receiving information about the incident, a rescue team from the Bhairab Dal Battalion of the Nepal Army in Gajuri was immediately deployed.
The team carried out the rescue operation in coordination with other security agencies. After being rescued, both injured individuals were taken to Teaching Hospital, Malekhu for further treatment, the Nepal Army said.
