Trump Denies Reports of Military Warning Over Potential Iran Strike

U.S. President Donald Trump has strongly denied media reports claiming that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Kane, warned him about the risks of a possible military strike against Iran.
Trump described the reports as “100 percent false” and “misleading.”
According to reports published by The Washington Post and Axios, General Kane had cautioned the President that a war with Iran could be prolonged and result in significant U.S. military casualties. The reports also mentioned concerns about the depletion of U.S. weapons stockpiles due to ongoing support for Israel and Ukraine.
However, Trump rejected those claims on social media, asserting that General Kane is not a “reluctant warrior” but a commander who “only knows how to win.” He suggested that the general is confident the United States could win a conflict with Iran if necessary.
The United States has deployed significant military forces in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Iran has stated that it remains open to negotiations but will not bow to what it calls excessive U.S. demands and will defend itself if required.
Experts say the contrast between Washington’s aggressive strategy and internal military assessments could increase instability in the Middle East.
