Rastriya Swatantra Party Condemns Death of Young Girl in Election Vehicle Accident

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (Raswapa) has expressed deep condolences following the death of a young girl in an accident involving a vehicle used during an election campaign.
In a statement issued today by General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, the party affirmed that necessary steps are being taken to provide relief and support to the victim’s family. “We express our heartfelt sympathy to the family affected by this tragic incident. The party has taken this matter very seriously,” the statement read. “We are committed to fully cooperating with the relevant authorities for an objective investigation of the incident.”
Raswapa also pledged to ensure that the legal process is followed and that the family receives justice. The party has issued directives to all members, candidates, and drivers to exercise high caution when operating vehicles during election campaigns and to prioritize safety and security at all times.
The incident occurred in Rautahat-2, where a car involved in the election campaign of Raswapa candidate Sheikh Sagir struck 4-year-old Alpha Khatun in Mathiatol, Ishnath Municipality-4. The child was critically injured and initially taken to City Hospital, Gaur, by the vehicle’s driver.
The driver, who had initially fled the scene, was later taken into custody by police. Alpha Khatun was transferred to the Provincial Hospital in Gaur for further treatment, where doctors declared her dead.
