One Killed in Road Accident on Siddhartha Highway in Palpa

One person was killed in a road accident on the Siddhartha Highway at Rokadanda, Bagnaskali Rural Municipality–2.
According to Kushal Singh Thakuri, a police inspector at the District Police Office Palpa, the accident occurred when a pickup jeep collided with a scooter.
The scooter rider, Khileshwor Ghartimagar, 36, from Mathagadhi Rural Municipality–1, was seriously injured in the collision. He later died during treatment at Lumbini Medical College in Prabhas, Palpa.
Police said the pickup jeep (Lu 1 Cha 3740) was traveling from Aryabhanjyang toward Bartung when it collided with the scooter (Lu 84 Pa 4348) coming from the opposite direction.
The jeep driver has been taken into police custody, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
The deceased Ghartimagar had been living in Sukhanagar, Butwal Sub‑Metropolitan City–8.
