Fire Reported on Turkish Airlines Aircraft at Tribhuvan Airport, Flights Affected

A Turkish Airlines flight, TK726, caught fire while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday morning.
The aircraft had arrived from Istanbul. Following the incident, both domestic and international flight operations at the airport were temporarily suspended.
According to airport authorities, aircraft operated by Air India and Air Arabia were placed on hold in the air, while a Himalaya Airlines flight to Lhasa was delayed. Most mountain flights were also affected.
Police said all 273 passengers and 11 crew members were safely evacuated from the aircraft. Technical inspections of the plane are currently underway.
