“Current” and “Lali” Noodles Ordered to Be Withdrawn After Failing Quality Tests

The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control has ordered the immediate recall of “Current” and “Lali” noodle brands produced by Yashoda Foods Pvt. Ltd. after they were found to be substandard.
The department said the decision was made after laboratory testing of samples collected during market monitoring showed that the products did not meet mandatory government quality standards.
According to the findings, the acid value of extracted fat used in the noodles was not within the required standard limits.
Following the results, the department directed the company to immediately withdraw “Current Noodles” (100 grams) and “Lali Chauchau” (50 grams) from the market.
Officials said the action was taken to ensure consumer safety and compliance with national food quality regulations.
