UAE Reopens Airspace After Temporary Closure Amid Rising Tensions

The United Arab Emirates has reopened its airspace after it was temporarily closed for nearly two hours.
The closure was implemented as a precautionary security measure due to ongoing missile and drone attacks from Iran.
Authorities said the country’s air defense systems intercepted hundreds of missiles and thousands of drones during the heightened alert.
After assessing the situation, the General Civil Aviation Authority (UAE) coordinated with relevant agencies to resume normal airspace operations.
Earlier, flight operations were disrupted following a drone attack near Dubai International Airport in Dubai.
Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, several international flights have been delayed, canceled, or rerouted.
