Israel Attacks Golestan Palace Amid Ongoing Conflict with Iran

On the fourth day of the ongoing conflict between Israel, United States, and Iran, Israeli forces reportedly launched an attack on the historic Golestan Palace in Tehran, according to Iranian news agency Mehr News Agency.
The palace, built in the 16th century, has historically served as a royal court and center of power for Iranian monarchs. While parts of the palace suffered damage in the attack, precious and historic artworks had already been moved to secure locations, safeguarding them from harm. Golestan Palace is a major tourist destination and was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.
Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump urged American citizens to leave the Middle East as soon as possible. In a statement from the White House, he claimed that the largest planned attack on Iran had not yet occurred and suggested that the conflict could continue for 4–5 weeks, with the possibility of a longer campaign if necessary.
