South Korean Military Helicopter Crashes in Gyeonggi Province, Two Critically Injured

A South Korean military helicopter crashed on Monday in Gyeonggi Province, according to Yonhap News Agency. Two people were critically injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest.
The crash occurred at around 11 a.m. local time in Gapyeong County, a province surrounding the capital Seoul. Both individuals involved in the accident sustained serious injuries.
The helicopter was flying as part of a training exercise and was identified as an AH-1S Cobra model operated by the South Korean military. According to reports, the helicopter was in the process of being retired from service.
No explosion or fire occurred during the crash. Authorities have stated that an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
