Drone Attack on Passenger Train in Northeast Ukraine Kills at Least 5

In northeastern Kharkiv, Ukraine, a Russian drone strike on a passenger train on Tuesday killed at least five people and injured several others.
Local officials reported that over 200 passengers were aboard the train at the time. One of the train carriages was directly hit by a drone, while two other drones detonated near the train. The targeted carriage reportedly had 18 passengers inside.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack, labeling it an act of “terrorism” against civilians. Russia has not commented on the incident.
In recent days, Russia has carried out drone and missile attacks on energy and transportation infrastructure in Ukraine. Damage to power facilities has caused widespread electricity outages, and the disruption of heating systems in the winter has created severe hardships for civilians.
