Trump warns US may “go in and kill Hamas” if attacks continue

Washington, (ANI) : US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States may be compelled to take military action against Hamas if the group continues to target civilians in Gaza.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them.”
The statement follows his remarks a day earlier about Hamas’s efforts to recover the bodies of deceased hostages and the implications of the US-brokered peace agreement. Together, the comments suggest a growing US concern over both humanitarian conditions in Gaza and the potential breakdown of the peace process.
Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump described the grim process of recovering bodies, saying, “They’re digging and finding a lot of bodies. Some have been there a long time, some are under rubble, and some are in tunnels deep underground.”
He further stressed that Hamas must surrender its weapons as agreed under the peace deal. “We want the weapons to be given… They’ve agreed to do it. Now they have to do it. If they don’t, we will do it,” Trump said.
Reiterating a firm stance, he added, “They’re going to disarm, because they said they would. And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them. They know I’m not playing games.”
Trump made these remarks during a bilateral lunch with Argentine President Javier Milei at the White House, shortly after the US announced a USD 20 billion support package to help stabilize Argentina’s economy.
