Fog Likely in Parts of the Tarai, Light Rain and Snowfall Possible in High Hills

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that fog or mist is likely to prevail in some parts of the Tarai region this afternoon. The hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the weather in other regions will be mostly clear.

There is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province. At present, Nepal is under the partial influence of western winds. Currently, fog has been observed in some parts of the Tarai, while partial cloud cover is seen over the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Tonight, some parts of the Tarai are expected to experience cloudy conditions. Similarly, the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces will remain partly cloudy, while the weather in the rest of the country is likely to stay mainly clear, according to the department.
