Ganga Sonam wins Nepal Idol Season 6

Ganga Sonam of Sindhupalchowk has clinched the title of the singing reality show Nepal Idol Season 6.
In the grand finale held at Gwarko in Lalitpur on Sunday evening, Sonam was announced the winner. The result was based on online voting.
She received Rs 2.5 million along with a trophy. Babita Thapa Magar from Sikkim was First Runner Up and Darshana Gandhari secured Second Runner Up position. They were awarded with Rs 1 million and Rs 500,000, respectively.
Likewise, Abhinaya Khati from Darjeeling and Mrinal Manandhar from Kathmandu became Fourth and Fifth, winning Rs 100,000 cash prizes each.
Buddha Lama was the first winner of Nepal Idol. Ravi Oad won the title in the second season, Sajja Mainali (third), while Bhupendra Thapa Magar and Karan Pariyar won the titles in the fourth and fifth seasons respectively.
The panel of judges of the singing reality show were Nhyoo Bajracharya, Kali Prasad Baskota and Indira Joshi.
