Gold and Silver Prices Surge in Local Market

On the first day of the week, gold prices have seen a sharp rise in the local market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold—previously traded at NPR 291,000 per tola—has increased to NPR 300,500 per tola today. This marks a rise of NPR 9,500 per tola.

Silver prices have also gone up today. Silver is being traded at NPR 5,010 per tola, compared to NPR 4,038 per tola previously. This reflects an increase of NPR 972 per tola.
