Gold and silver prices in the local market have reached a new record

Gold and silver prices in the local market have reached a new record high today. Compared to Thursday, the price of gold increased by NPR 9,200 per tola, while silver rose by NPR 320 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold is being traded at NPR 301,400 per tola today. Similarly, silver is being traded at NPR 6,190 per tola.
On Wednesday, fine gold was traded at NPR 295,100 per tola, while silver stood at NPR 5,920 per tola. Earlier on Tuesday, gold was priced at NPR 284,700 per tola and silver at NPR 5,880 per tola.
Likewise, on Sunday, gold was traded at NPR 278,800 per tola, while silver was priced at NPR 5,625 per tola. On Monday, gold increased to NPR 282,000 per tola and silver to NPR 5,810 per tola.
According to international media reports, gold is currently being traded at USD 4,960 per ounce in the international market, while silver stands at USD 98 per ounce
