Finance Ministry appeals to deposit contribution funds only into official bank account

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance has called for amounts collected at home and abroad for the cause of those affected by the September 8-9 Gen Z demonstration to be deposited only into its official account.
Issuing a press statement today, the Ministry urged the parties concerned to deposit the funds into the bank account of the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund (Ministry of Finance) at Rastriya Banijya Bank (Account number: 1960100102070004) to ensure proper utilization of the financial contributions while maintaining transparency and accountability.
The statement also notes that the contribution funds gathered at home and abroad for relief to the families of martyrs and treatment of those injured in the protest held demanding good governance, improvement in service delivery, and the prevention of corruption are being deposited into various non-governmental organizations’ accounts.
