Congress MPs to receive training on parliamentary roles

The Nepali Congress has announced that party president Gagan Thapa will conduct a training session for party lawmakers in the federal parliament.
The session is scheduled for 1 PM at the parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar, where Thapa will brief MPs on their roles and responsibilities in the legislature.
According to party leaders, the meeting will also discuss government ordinances and the recent demolition of squatter settlements carried out without adequate resettlement arrangements.
The meeting is expected to set the party’s strategy for its role in the federal parliament going forward.
