Janamat Party exits Madhesh Province government

The Janamat Party has formally implemented its decision to withdraw from the Madhesh Province government. The move follows a parliamentary party meeting held on Baisakh 11, where the decision was made by majority vote.
According to the secretariat of party chairman CK Raut, growing dissatisfaction with the government’s working style led to the exit. The party stated that its “vision” could not be implemented, more than 70 planning remained stalled, and repeated suggestions for improvement were ignored.
Janamat also claimed that despite urging reforms for the past five months, there was no response. Concluding that public interest was not being served, the party decided it was appropriate to leave the government.
