Mali Defense Minister Sadio Camara Killed in Attack

Sadio Camara has been killed in an attack by jihadist and rebel groups.
Officials in Mali confirmed his death on Sunday. He had been injured during coordinated attacks carried out across different parts of the country on Saturday.
According to government reports, his residence was targeted in an हमला involving a suicide car bomb. Camara reportedly tried to resist but was seriously wounded during the clash and later died while receiving treatment at a hospital.
The attacks, including those in the capital Bamako, left 16 others injured, and several attackers were reportedly killed.
Meanwhile, the separatist group Azawad Liberation Front has claimed control of the northern city of Kidal.
The incident is seen as further escalating insecurity in Mali and posing new challenges to the country’s military-led government.
