Bus Falls into Tamakoshi River in Ramechhap; Six Passengers Rescued

A bus traveling from Kathmandu to Pokhari in Okhaldhunga via Dhobi, Ramechhap, fell into the Tamakoshi River. Six passengers have been rescued and sent for medical treatment, according to DSP Bhola Bhatt of the Ramechhap District Police Office. He added, “Rescue efforts are challenging because the bus is submerged in the river.”

The bus, with registration number Province 3-01-995 K 9975, fell near a place called Machanetar in Ramechhap. The exact number of passengers on board is still being confirmed.

Police and Nepal Armed Police Force teams have been deployed to the site to assist with rescue operations.
