UML Victory Essential to Defeat Chaos and Fraud, Says Prithvi Subba Gurung

Lamjung — CPN-UML Vice Chairperson Prithvi Subba Gurung has stated that the UML must win the upcoming election to curb growing chaos and fraudulent activities in the country.
Addressing an election rally in Besisahar, Lamjung, on Tuesday, Gurung described the current election as a decisive battle between honest citizens and forces involved in fraud and criminal activities.
He argued that good governance cannot be established unless those engaged in cooperative fraud, arson, vandalism, and criminal behavior are decisively defeated. According to him, the UML is the only political force capable of taking firm action against such tendencies.
“This election is a fight between the righteous and the fraudulent,” Gurung said, adding that lawlessness and criminal mindsets must be eliminated to ensure stability and governance in the country.
Targeting newly emerged political forces and groups involved in street protests, including the Rastriya Swatantra Party, he stressed the need for a UML-led government to counter such movements.
Gurung further claimed that protecting national dignity, democracy, and the constitution is not possible without UML leadership, asserting that development and prosperity cannot be achieved through social media rumors or street agitation alone.
