133 Candidates File Nominations for House of Representatives in Sarlahi

Sarlahi — Ahead of the House of Representatives election scheduled for February 21, a total of 133 candidates have filed their nominations across the four constituencies of Sarlahi district. On Tuesday, 61 candidates from political parties and 72 independent candidates submitted their nomination papers at the District Election Office.
According to Manishkumar Sah, Deputy Subba at the District Election Office, Constituency No. 1 has 29 candidates (10 independents), Constituency No. 2 has 31 candidates (17 independents), Constituency No. 3 has 34 candidates (19 independents), and Constituency No. 4 has 39 candidates (26 independents).
Key candidates include:
Constituency 1: Nitima Bhandari (RSPa), Pramod Sah (NCP), Ram Prakash Chaudhary (Jaspa Nepal), Vikas Thakur (Rashtriya Mukti Party)
Constituency 2: Rajendra Mahto (Rashtriya Mukti Party), Mahendra Rai Yadav (NCP), Dr. Saroj Kumar (Congress)
Constituency 3: Narendra Sah Kalwar (RSPa), Narayan Kaji Shrestha (NCP), Binod Kumar Dhakal (Congress), Hariprasad Upreti (UML)
Constituency 4: Gagan Kumar Thapa (Congress), Amresh Kumar Singh (RSPa), Rameshwar Rai Yadav (Jaspa Nepal)
The Election Officer confirmed that the nomination process has been conducted smoothly and transparently. Political activities and campaigning across the district are expected to intensify as the election date approaches.
