Petition Filed in Supreme Court Against AG’s Approval to Amend Ravi Lamichhane Case

Kathmandu — A writ petition has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the Attorney General’s decision to approve the amendment of charges against Ravi Lamichhane.
The petition, submitted by Yubaraj Paudel, claims that the Attorney General’s decision is against the Constitution and the law and requests its cancellation.
The writ has been registered with the Supreme Court’s Mahashakha, where staff are currently reviewing it. Paudel has also sought an interim order to halt further proceedings, citing the risk that the case could be dismissed.
