Gold and Silver Prices Drop Sharply in Nepal

Kathmandu, — After several days of continuous increase, the prices of gold and silver in Nepal fell sharply on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers.
The price of gold dropped by Rs 7,900 per tola, falling from Rs 270,000 on Monday to Rs 262,100 per tola on Tuesday. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 270,600 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver declined by Rs 305 per tola, bringing it down to Rs 4,590 per tola. On Monday, silver was traded at Rs 4,895 per tola, while on Sunday it was Rs 4,835 per tola.
Market analysts attribute the sudden decline to fluctuations in the international market and changes in demand.
