Nepali Embassy in Portugal to run mobile camp

Lisbon (Portugal), – The Embassy of Nepal in Portugal is to run a two-day mobile camp at Madeira Island of Portugal targeting the Nepali migrants there for their passport renewal and document verification.
According to the Embassy, consular services would be conducted at Madeira Island of Portugal on December 6 and 7.
The services include passport renewal, police report, family documents and verification of other documents.
The Ambassador of Nepal to Portugal, Prakash Mani Paudel, shared that biometric details of the service seekers would be collected for issuance of new passport.
Ambassador Paudel said that the team is being deployed at Madeira Island to provide service to the Nepali community living there since the island is far away from the embassy location.
“We are planning to run the camp by utilizing the holidays for the convenience of Nepalis living in the region (Madeira Island),” Ambassador Paudel added.
Paudel hoped that a large number of Nepalis living in Madeira Island are expected to benefit.
The Embassy of Nepal in Portugal conducted the mobile camp in Faro city last month.
