Panchthar jeep accident: six dead, six severely injured

Panchthar: Six people died and six others were severely injured in a jeep accident that occurred today at Kattike in Kummayak rural municipality-3, Panchthar district, along the Tamor Corridor.
The jeep (Me 1 Ja 3055) was en route to Dharan from Taplejung when it met with the fatal accident, confirmed the District Police Office, Panchthar.
Police Inspector Rupesh Tamang said the injured were sent to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. The Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force rescued the injured.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
