Korean Education Fair offers up to 100 percent scholarships

A large-scale Korea Educational Fair-2025 is scheduled to be held on Saturday in Kathmandu. The fair is being organized by Korea Educational Consultancy Association Nepal (KECAN) at `The Everest Hotel’ in New Baneshwor, targeting students who want to study in Korea and claiming to offer up to 100 percent scholarship.

In the exhibition, more than 70 trained and experienced consultants from 23 consultancies will guide students, KECAN President Bishnu Khadka said in a press meet.
The fair will be held from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday. It will provide information about educational opportunities in Korea, scholarships, study procedures, visa procedures, and curricula, KECAN said.
According to KECAN informed through a press conference held on Friday that the fair aims to provide counseling to more than 2,000 students and parents.

Speaking at the press conference, Chairman Khadka said, “The fair will be attended by educational consultants affiliated with KCAN and representatives of Nepali universities. Students get up to 100 percent scholarship from the fair. The scholarship percentage is determined by the student’s GPA and IELTS score.”
Responding to a journalist’s question, outgoing Chairman Ganesh Sharma said that the fair will be a good opportunity for students going to Korea as they will get consultation from more than 70 instructors from 23 consultancies at one place.
“This is a golden opportunity for students to get information about Korean universities and educational institutions from their favorite consultants and instructors,” Sharma said, “In addition, some lucky students also receive good scholarships.”
