Sudan Gurung Widens Lead in Gorkha-1 Constituency

Sudan Gurung, candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has extended his lead in the Gorkha-1 constituency.
As of Monday morning, he was leading by over 10,000 votes.
According to the Election Commission, Gurung has received 24,051 votes, while his closest competitor, Premkumar Khatri of the Nepali Congress, secured 13,511 votes. Hariraj Adhikari of the Nepal Communist Party obtained 10,231 votes.
