Clash Between Raswapa and UML Cadres in Baitadi, Two Injured

A clash broke out between cadres of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (Raswapa) and the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) in Baitadi, leaving two people injured.
According to the District Police Office Baitadi, the incident occurred during a door-to-door election campaign when supporters from both sides confronted each other. The clash took place in Lek Tole of Dilasaini Rural Municipality–7.
Police Inspector Suraj Singh, spokesperson for the District Police Office Baitadi, said two UML-affiliated Youth Association members were injured in the incident. The injured have been identified as 28-year-old Janak Dhami and 26-year-old Madhav Dhami, both residents of Dilasaini–7.
Janak Dhami sustained injuries to his head and forehead, while Madhav Dhami suffered injuries to his back and right leg. They are currently receiving treatment at Gokuleshwar Hospital.
Police have deployed a team under the leadership of a police inspector to investigate the incident, the District Police Office Baitadi stated.
