Gold and Silver Prices Continue to Rise in Local Market

The prices of gold and silver in the local market have continued to increase. Compared to Tuesday, the prices of both precious metals have risen again today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at NPR 306,600 per tola, while silver is being traded at NPR 5,290 per tola today.

On Tuesday, the price of gold was NPR 305,500 per tola and silver was priced at NPR 5,240 per tola. Similarly, on Monday, gold was traded at NPR 304,600 per tola, and silver at NPR 5,250 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is currently being traded at 5,060 US dollars per ounce in the international market, while silver is priced at 82 US dollars per ounce.
