Kathmandu Traffic Police Take Action in Surprise Checks, 103 Drivers Penalized

Kathmandu – The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office on Ramshahpath conducted surprise checks on Monday morning across various parts of the valley, resulting in 103 drivers being penalized.
The checks targeted public transport vehicles, water tankers, garbage trucks, ambulances, and school buses. During the operation, 13 drivers were found driving under the influence of alcohol. Among them, 12 were taken into custody and sent to different police divisions for further action.
