Stock Market Closed on Sunday for Prithvi Jayanti

Kathmandu The stock market will remain closed on Sunday as the government has declared a public holiday to mark Prithvi Narayan Shah’s birth anniversary and National Unity Day.

Last week, the NEPSE index fell by 4.59 points on the final trading day. A total of 1,431,760 shares from 328 companies were traded, amounting to NPR 490.8094 crore.

Trading will resume from Monday.
