Chinese Ambassador emphasizes strengthening China–Nepal security cooperation

The Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chang Maoming, has expressed commitment to strengthening security cooperation between China and Nepal and pledged to make every possible effort to enhance it further.

Speaking during an interaction with participants of the first group of the Police Leadership and Staff Course (PLSC) at the National Police Training Academy in Maharajgunj on Thursday, the ambassador reiterated his commitment to reinforcing bilateral security collaboration.

According to the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, the ambassador exchanged views with future leaders of the Nepal Police on various contemporary issues during the program.

Discussions also covered topics such as Nepal–China relations, current global developments, and regional security challenges.

Participants shared their perspectives on the current state of bilateral relations, mutual cooperation, and future possibilities between the two countries.

Ambassador Chang noted that Nepal–China relations have been continuously strengthening and expressed confidence that cooperation in law enforcement and security will reach a higher level in the coming days.

He added that such bilateral cooperation is expected to enhance mutual trust between the two nations and contribute significantly to regional stability.
