Om Prakash Aryal Warns PM Shah to Uphold ‘Rule of Law’

Former Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has cautioned Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Expressing his views through social media, Aryal highlighted the significant difference between the “rule of law” and “rule by law.”
He emphasized that good governance is rooted in the rule of law and advised the Prime Minister to uphold and protect it.
His remarks come at a time when the government has adopted a more aggressive approach in actions such as removing squatter settlements and reopening old cases for legal action.
While some have supported these government moves, criticism has also been increasing.
