Car Pooling Implemented in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Kathmandu Metropolitan City has implemented a car pooling program for officials following fuel cut measures.
According to Acting Mayor Sunita Dangol, the initiative aims to reduce fuel shortages and minimize their long-term impact.
Under this system, officials coming from the same area will form groups and take turns using vehicles. The goal is to reduce the number of vehicles on the road and save fuel.
The metropolitan office had already decided to cut fuel quotas earlier.
