Aviation Fuel Prices Nearly Double in Nepal

Nepal Oil Corporation has almost doubled the price of aviation fuel. According to the adjustment made on Tuesday, prices have been increased for both domestic and international flights.
For domestic flights, the price of aviation fuel has risen from NPR 127 per liter to NPR 251 per liter.
For international flights, the price in Kathmandu has increased from USD 966 per kiloliter to USD 1,785. Similarly, in Pokhara, the price has gone up from USD 801 to USD 1,732, and in Bhairahawa, it has risen from USD 789 to USD 1,716 per kiloliter.
This sharp price hike is expected to increase air travel costs and directly impact passengers.
