Ishwar Pokhrel: Upcoming Election Is a Mandate to Build the Nation

Ishwar Pokhrel, leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) and candidate from Kathmandu–5, has said the upcoming House of Representatives election should be taken as a public mandate to build the nation.
Addressing an election rally on Thursday, Pokhrel stated that forces standing for national pride, sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity must unite. “We are clear that the force committed to building the country must emerge victorious,” he said. He claimed that only the UML carries a clear agenda of development and political stability.
Pokhrel also emphasized the need to complete infrastructure and development projects initiated during the tenure of UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, stating that continuity in leadership is essential to fulfill those plans.
