Durga Prasai Claims Royal Family Preparing to Take to the Streets

Durga Prasai, coordinator of the “Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizen Protection” campaign, has claimed that members of Nepal’s royal family are preparing to take to the streets by Falgun 16.
Prasai made the statement through social media, asserting that royal family members are getting ready to come out in support of the nation, religion, and citizens’ interests. He urged the public to unite and stand together. He also appealed to all Nepalis to support efforts—“with body, mind, and speech”—to protect the country from external influence and to safeguard religion and culture.
In his message, Prasai called on citizens to gather in Kathmandu by Falgun 16, stating that protecting the nation, religion, and citizens is a shared responsibility and requesting broad public participation.
