The local administration in Birgunj Metropolitan City, Parsa, has imposed an indefinite curfew starting Monday morning due to a serious deterioration in the security situation. The District Administration Office, Parsa, announced that the curfew will be in effect from 9:45 a.m. across the city’s main areas until further notice.

According to the order issued by Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal, all public movement and gatherings are strictly prohibited within the designated curfew zones.

The curfew area has been clearly demarcated as follows:

Ambulances, fire trucks, hearse vehicles, and health workers will be permitted to operate without restriction. Similarly, vehicles of journalists, students and staff traveling for pre-scheduled university examinations, tourists, and diplomatic missions will receive facilitation from security personnel, according to the official statement.
