Board Meeting Scheduled After Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah’s Resignation

Following the resignation of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah, a board meeting has been scheduled.
The meeting will be held on Sunday at 4:30 PM at the metropolitan office located in Kathmandu Plaza.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City is preparing to formally thank and bid farewell to Shah. After his resignation, Sunita Dangol has assumed the role of Acting Mayor of Kathmandu.
After stepping down from the mayoral post, Shah visited the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) office , where he took charge as a senior leader. He left the office shortly after assuming the responsibility.
Meanwhile, Balen Shah and RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane are preparing to travel to Janakpurdham later today. From there, they are set to begin their election campaign on Monday.
