Specifically, remittances in Mangsir 2082 reached NPR 18.318 billion, up from NPR 11.879 billion in the same month last year.

Measured in U.S. dollars, remittance inflows increased by 29.0%, reaching USD 616 million over five months, compared to a modest 3.4% growth in the previous year.

The report also highlights that 175,591 Nepalese obtained new labor approvals for foreign employment, while 163,924 received renewals during the same period. Last year, these numbers were 190,384 and 135,425, respectively.
