Three die in microbus accident
Dang: Three persons died and two others got injury in a bus accident occurred in Salyan district this morning. A microbus (Lu 2 Kha 6502) en route to Tulsipur from Banphikot of Rukum Paschim met accident at Kapurkot-3 of Salyan district, according to Resham Khatri, Police Inspector at District Police Office, Salyan.
Those losing life in the accident were Pabi BC, 67; Prakash KC, 27; and Sashidhar KC, 30, from Banphikot-5 of Rukum Paschim.
They had died on the spot. Two persons injured in the incident are Khagendra KC, 47; and Dina KC, 36, both from Banphikot rural municipality. Injured seriously in the incident, they have been referred to the Teaching Hospital, Banke after minor treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.
The bus had slid 300 metres down the road.
