Sanya Adhikari became ‘Miss Universe Nepal 2025’

Sanya Adhikari has won the title of ‘Miss Universe Nepal 2025’. Sanya was crowned the winner at the grand finale held at Royal Tulip Hotel in Lalitpur on Wednesday evening.
The winner, Sanya, received Rs 200,000 in cash along with gifts worth thousands of rupees. She will also represent Nepal at the 74th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on November 21.
In a conversation with the media after winning the title, Sanya spoke about the impact on the tourism sector in Nepal due to the recent Gen Z demonstrations.
She stated that she would send a message to foreign tourists that Nepal is peaceful now. She mentioned that while representing Nepal at Miss Universe, she will promote Nepal’s tourism sector along with various other issues.
Aarohi Basnet was declared the first runner-up, Sonalisa Dhungana the second runner-up, Alina Yari the third runner-up, and Jyoti Thapa the fourth runner-up. Fourteen contestants had competed in the finale.
Sangita Puri, the National Director of Miss Universe Nepal 2025, congratulated all the winners and expressed confidence that they will bring honor to the nation in the coming days.
