Barcelona Midfielder Gavi Set to Return After Long Injury Layoff

Gavi, the young midfielder of FC Barcelona, is set to return to the field after a long injury break.
Head coach Hansi Flick confirmed that the 21-year-old midfielder could feature in Sunday’s La Liga match against Sevilla FC.
Gavi had suffered a serious knee injury in August, which kept him out of action for several months.
“This is great news that he is back,” Flick told reporters. “I’m very happy. It’s good to have him again, and you can see his energy and movement during training.”
Meanwhile, Barcelona currently hold a four-point lead over Real Madrid in the league standings. The team will face Elche CF on Saturday and Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
