Nepali Congress President Expresses Deep Condolences Over Dhading Bus Accident

Gagan Kumar Thapa, President of the Nepali Congress, has expressed profound sorrow over the recent bus accident in Dhading.

In a condolence statement issued today, President Thapa said that a passenger bus with registration number Ga 2 Kha 1421, traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu, fell into the Trishuli River near Beni Ghat–Rorang Municipality–5, Bhainsigauda at around 1:30 a.m. This tragic incident claimed the lives of 17 people and left 27 others injured.

Thapa paid heartfelt tribute to the deceased, wishing eternal peace to their souls, and extended deep condolences on behalf of the party and himself to the grieving families. He also urged the government to ensure proper treatment and care for the injured.

Highlighting the increasing frequency of such road accidents, the Nepali Congress has called on the government to immediately form a task force to thoroughly investigate the incident and implement measures to prevent similar accidents in the future.
