Gagan Kumar Thapa Highlights Significance of 2007 Democratic Movement

Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that it is because of the 2007 BS democratic movement that Nepali citizens today are able to speak and live in a free and fearless environment.
On the occasion of the 76th Democracy Day, he shared a message on social media stating that the 2007 movement was fought for democracy and freedom. He emphasized that the values and ideals established by the 2007 BS movement remain equally relevant and alive today.
Thapa further noted that to confront the challenges seen in the present time, the inspiration and determination of the 2007 movement are necessary. He called on everyone to unite in safeguarding and strengthening democratic values.
