KP Sharma Oli Visits Damak’s “View Tower” Business Complex

Nepal Communist Party (UML) Chairman and former Prime Minister Kp Oli visited the business complex popularly known as the “View Tower” in Ward No. 3 of Damak Municipality, his home area. Upon arrival, local residents not only welcomed him but also expressed their frustrations and concerns.
Resident Bishnukant Nyaupane pointed towards the View Tower, saying, “This used to be a grand, brightly lit building, like a mini landmark. But it was vandalized and set on fire. Now, the area feels dark and abandoned.”
Another resident, Saraswati Nyaupane, added, “If enemies attack in this country, they destroy such good buildings. The same happened in Kathmandu. Why does this happen in our country?” Their anger and concern left Chairman Oli deeply reflective.
Other locals noted that the complex had boosted local business and economic activity by being open to the public, but after being vandalized and burned in a short time, those sources of income were lost. Residents of Damak-3 emphasized the need to repair and reopen the business complex.
Chairman Oli has been meeting with voters from various wards and neighborhoods of Damak on Monday and continued his discussions and interactions across the municipality on Tuesday.
